Please rate my writing (1-10)?

Don't listen to Ty, he's being a jerk. I liked it :) You use very good description, without it cluttering up the story. I would usually suggest some improvement I feel might help, only looking back over it for the third time, I still can't find anything xD Good job :) Overall...I think 9/10
