I have a wood work project at school and we have to make a housing joint.......?

we get a plank of wood about 300x30x50 and we can do anything we like....like a photo stand or a broom holder or a bag hook/skate borad hook.....i want something original, something useful that can be used my dad sed a cooking utensil holder or a key hook thing what do you think?
