Just got a 70 resto sham, help playing please!!?

I just got a 70 resto sham from my brother, and I have no idea how to play him. I can kill enemies, but i use all my mana in doing it. So I have to drink after every fight, which i dont think should happen. Please tell me how to play them and how to preserve mana. Or link to something. Please help!!!!!
