What are some Ecuadorian values, taboos, and some interesting folkways?

I am writing a paper on the cultures in Ecuador; mainly Spanish and Inca. I was wondering if anyone was Ecuadorian, or knows some interesting facts about some of the values, taboos, rituals, or folkways in Ecuador. Anything would help. Thanks!
